Cynicism: Back By Popular Demand.

Ahh busy, busy, busy. The World is indeed a busy place is it not? Many of us were forewarned of the busyness of this world many, many years ago by a man named Richard Scarry when our parents sat beside our beds and read us his book:

Do any of you remember this book? It's right up there with The Velveteen Rabbit as an influential giant in my childhood years. I loved the illustrations and for the life of me I can barely remember any of the stories in the book probably because, while my mom or dad were half delirious from a long work day, reading the book to their snot nosed brat for the 573rd time that month, I was busy ignoring them and looking at all the interesting things that were happening in the pictures. What a great book!

Over the last month though, with all the busy schedules and running around, many people were asking me questions that were more in line with another Richard Scarry book:

But allow me to use the illustrative genius of Mr. Scarry to fill you in on a little bit of what's been going on over the last number of weeks.

I finished school and graduated:I played a lot of music:
I hung out with friends:

Started a new job:

Ate corn on the cob:

Dustin and I moved:

And then joined Baron von Richtoffen's Flying Circus:

I made toast:And wore a sweet ass helmet the whole time too:

So I suppose one could say that life has been very animated lately (ahhhh get it?). Large life changes always accompany these times of hustle and bustle. But, as long as I'm not being chased through the streets of London by a Fox dressed as a Police officer or in North Africa breaking clay pots hand made by some Cat I think everything will be just fine. And I may even find time to blog more. Who can say?

With that said, please do your civic duty and go watch Hot Fuzz, starring Nick Frost and Simon Pegg of Shaun of the Dead fame. It's the second best movie of the year. So far...
